fall: the rise of new beginnings.

fall is here.

september 22 marked the end of summer and the beginning of fall. and as we know, the fall season brings with it the reminder to let go of what no longer serves us.

fall is a yearly reminder that this season, this cycle is a necessary one. it is necessary to let go in order for something renewed to grow in its place.

the sentiment of that is so beautiful, but the reality is like what the F&%^!

and for me, the new season has already brought so much change with it. for me, changes came in at every angle: with finances, family, friends, spiritually, romantically, professionally, personally, etc. and with so many changes happening at one time, it didn’t feel like shifts happening for the good of all. it felt more like upper cuts from the universe. testing me. trying to see how much i could handle.

whew chile, it’s been rough. 😮‍💨

some days have been tougher than others, but i have been working at learning how to breathe through it and try to see the silver lining in it all.

it hasn’t been easy, but then again, what in life worth having ever is?

one day as i was breathing through i was reminded of a quote that my sister shared with me when i was going through. she said “every ending makes for a beautiful beginning.” and for years, it’s been my mantra when hard times come.

as i’m writing this and reflecting, i want it to be clear to you, that yes, life is hard and sometimes it sucks, but i also want to express that despite the troubles that come, life is also so beautiful.

it’s really about finding balance and moments to breathe through when it all seems like it’s too much.

this is your reminder that you are not alone. you can make a new beginning at any time. as many times as you need to. you got this and you got you.
